Dictionary Jumpstart is located in Lowell, near Grand Rapids,
Michigan. Dictionary Jumpstart is a one-of-a-kind dictionary building software
in the steno reporting industry. The president and sole owner of DJ, Anissa R.
Nierenberger, is a broadcast captioner of 16 years. DJ caters to the vocabulary
building needs of steno writers in the U.S. and abroad.
While there are approximately 38,000 reporters in the U.S., many
desire to transition into different types of careers including: broadcast captioning,
media-room reporting, CART (Communication Access Realtime Reporting) webcasting
and internet reporting, political reporting, congressional reporting, government
reporting, publishing reporting, and financial reporting.
There are also 7,000 reporting students in NCRA-approved (National
Court Reporting Association) schools.
A reporter is able to build the vocabulary needed to report in
