Anissa Nierenberger graduated from court reporting school in August of 1991and began closed captioning training in November of 1991.

She began her on-air captioning career in May of 1992.

  • Sporting events including NBA basketball games, MLB baseball games, NHL hockey games, NFL football games, and college football games
  • Local U.S. news markets for CBS, NBC, and ABC affiliates from coast to coast
  • Local Canadian newscasts and 1996 Summer Olympics for the CBC
  • Travel to 20 U.S. cities, coast to coast, with General Motors, providing realtime captioning for retiree and stockholder meetings
  • Stadium event captioning
